Consider this a silver parachute floating down to Earth from your benevolent sponsor Hollywood Crush. Our gift to you: an EXCLUSIVE first look at "The Hunger Games" Peeta character poster featuring Josh Hutcherson!
Fans of Suzanne Collins' dystopian series, on which the movie is based, need no introduction to Peeta. As heroine Katniss Everdeen's fellow District 12 tribute in the Capitol-devised Hunger Games, the teen must battle 23 fellow contestants to the death if he hopes to make it out of the booby-trap-filled arena alive. Oh, and the whole thing's broadcast in every house in the country, a reconstituted North America known as Panem. NO BIG DEAL.

This unfussy one sheet is a simple yet compelling look at the baker's son. Pictured in profile and wearing a plain T-shirt, Peeta appears determined and yet somehow vulnerable, all at the same time. (Not to mention he looks so young, right?!) I just want to reach through the computer screen, give him a hug and tell him everything will be all right. But, again, as any bona fide "Hunger Games" acolyte will tell you, Peeta boasts plenty of mettle without my meddling.
